Starting in 1995, we provided our Doggy Hikes & Socials to around 40 lucky Pacific Palisades dogs a day. We had a staff of 12, and leased a multi-acre home base in lower Topanga Canyon. We were happy to be featured in Dog Fancy Magazine and The Wall Street Journal, among others. When the State of California purchased the 7 mile stretch from PCH up Topanga Canyon from the owning Los Angeles Athletic Club to convert to park land, we and many other businesses and residences were forced to depart, with many like us not finding a timely, suitable replacement. Now with a new lovely, private home base, Club Happy Dog is again providing the dog excursions which our pups love and we believe that we do uniquely well! We stand by our model as being far better than the dog walker, doggie day care, or dog park group outings. Our warm-hearted team is proudly serving a second and even third generation of dogs for some clients.

CLUB HAPPY DOG-La Jolla was sold because, while San Diego's many lovely legal dog beaches put our local pooch amenities to shame, there are no coastal dog-friendly mountains!

It just takes minutes to complete our on-line Enrollment. It includes which morning you want us to come meet you and your dog at home for his/her first outing. During this visit, you show us your dog's house pick-up and drop-off routine, and reassure your pup as he heads out the door with us for his first fun day at camp!
